Senior Civil Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities for role:
- Manage infrastructure design projects for key clients including Councils, Water Authorities and private developers
- Prepare tender submissions for major infrastructure design projects.
- Review and sign-off on detailed design documentation, technical reports, specifications etc.
- Prepare and maintain project programs
- Manage contracts and construction phases to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
- Establish and manage client and authority relationships.
- Promote our brand and actively seek new opportunities and areas for business growth.
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, water, sewerage and utilities infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with our companies Integrated Management System including Quality, Environmental, & OH&S Systems.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in Australia, or similar
- Professional Engineering Registration in Victoria or eligibility to obtain it
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in civil infrastructure industry including design and contract management
- Project Management
- Strong skills in communication and a commitment to high-quality client servicing
- Knowledge of AustRoads and Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) standards
- Thorough knowledge of local Council Guidelines including The Infrastructure Design Manual
- Knowledge of Water Industry Standards
- Land development Experience
Land Surveyor
Key Responsibilities for role:
Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment
Perform cadastral, topographic, and engineering surveys
Set out works for construction projects (e.g. subdivisions, roads, infrastructure)
Collect, process, and analyse spatial data
Prepare survey plans, reports, and documentation
Interpret plans, titles, and legal documents for boundary determination
Liaise with engineers, planners, clients, and contractors
Ensure surveys comply with relevant legislation, standards, and regulations
Use surveying software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d) to draft and manage data
Assist with project coordination and timelines
Maintain accurate records of survey data and field notes
Support junior staff or field crews where required
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
Previous experience in land surveying (cadastral, engineering, or construction surveying)
Proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, total stations, digital levels)
Experience using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d, or similar
Strong understanding of cadastral boundaries, subdivisions, and title re-establishment
Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and local authority requirements
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills when dealing with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Good time management and ability to manage multiple projects or deadlines
Current driver’s licence
